Périodes de construction : XVIIe siècle, 2e quart XVIIIe siècle, 1ère moitié XIXe siècle Family home of charm, château Lespinassat is a listed historic monument, five minutes drive to Bergerac, yet very secluded, and was built in c1650 altered in c1750 with addition of viewing terrace, pavillions to west and east side and creation of a lake and parkland. A 19th C wooden beamed kitchen area was added to join the west wing to château. An exterior, stone, Palladian style double staircase with wrought ironwork provides access to the first floor.

The picturesque Dordogne region attracts over 3 million tourists per year and has a huge amount to offer those looking to relocate, start a hospitality business or buy a holiday home. The west of the Dordogne has hundreds of pretty vineyards, with many wines rivalling those of neighbouring Bordeaux. The east of the Dordogne – with famous medieval towns such as Sarlat – has popular tourist attractions such as the Lascaux caves and other protected UNESCO world heritage sites. The rolling green hills of the north of the Dordogne offer a large selection of Chateaux to visit and explore and the region is perfect for cyclists, water activities and unspoilt beauty. Famous for its cuisine, the Dordogne is dream come true for fans of gourmet experiences.
Served by the airport of Bergerac, the region also has great international connections. With daily flights to London and other parts of Europe, the Dordogne is within easy reach for travellers.
