This beautiful AOC Cru Bourgeois vineyard estate has a 18th Century Chateau and another house. There are beautiful stone farm buildings and the chateau is situated in wooded parkland on one side and view over vines on the other side. The soil consists of clay on Limestone. The grape varieties are mostly Cabernet Sauvignon (about 60%) with 40% Merlot. The winery has thermoregulated stainless steel vats (not automatic). The Chateau has 2 full-time employees with seasonal workers. The wine is marketed under two Chateau brands and the wine is mainly sold to the Bordeaux wine trade (50%), export 30 to 40% and the rest to retail customers and wine merchants.
